A Christian based non-profit organization
We believe in one God, creator of heaven and earth, eternally existent Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired authoritative Word of God.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary atoning death on the cross, His resurrection and ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal return.
We believe that everyone who confesses with their mouth Jesus is Lord will be saved unto resurrection of life and their name will be written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
President, Lisa M. Perry, has a heart for ex-offenders and encouraging them to believe in themselves as children of God. She believes everyone has been given a talent by God (Matthew 25:14-30) and one day each of us will be asked what have we done with our talents. Lisa has been a Yokefellowship Prison Ministry volunteer since November 2008 in Lehigh County Jail and became Board Chairperson in October 2011. She resigned as Board Chairperson in December 2014 to focus on her "calling" of re-entry. In 2015 she started going back into Lehigh County Jail to facilitate Bible studies, in December 2015 was voted back on the Board and in May 2016 was voted in as Council Director of Yokefellowship Prison Ministry Lehigh Valley Council.
Pastor Gary Morrison was born in Durban South Africa, he was raised and went to school in rural Africa, served in the military for 2 years, and attended the Johannesburg Bible Institute for a year. He later graduated after four years of studies at the “Baptist Theological College of Southern Africa”, which is also located in the City of Johannesburg.
Pastor Gary was pastoring a small country church (Calvary Baptist Church) in his beloved region of “Zululand” from 1995 to 1999. The Lord opened the door to move from South Africa to the UK in late 1999. He then pastored Cornerstone Baptist Church in Bolton for almost 11 years before finally moving to become the Pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Allentown PA. He is also currently involved with a prison ministry called Yokefellowship Prison Ministry. In the past, Pastor Gary was closely involved in the “African Pastors Conferences”, which is an organization that brings good teaching and preaching to largely untrained African Pastors in a number of southern African countries. He has an avid interest in all things related to military history, especially to that of the “Anglo-Zulu and the Anglo-Boer” wars in South Africa. Come and visit him on a Sunday.
